Principles and scope

APPLIES TO EVERY PLAYER

New Era is a Hungarian and international 2X Rust community. These rules apply to the game server, its text and voice channels, the official Discord and the website's community features. Players, VIP members, creators and staff must follow them.

Basic expectations

  • Read the categories relevant to you; ignorance of a rule does not excuse a violation.
  • The world uses normal Rust PvP, except for marked, active PvE event zones and protected areas indicated by the game.
  • Deliberately circumventing a rule's purpose is a violation even when the exact trick is not listed. A technically possible action is not automatically permitted.
  • Follow event markers, server notices and staff instructions consistent with these rules. Report contradictions or faults privately.

Changes and times

Follow published changes from their announced effective time. New prohibitions do not retrospectively punish conduct that was permitted at the time. Schedules use Budapest time, including daylight saving changes. Each detailed chapter explains exceptions for its own system.
